There are more than mere 'differences'  betweeen men & women - there is a colossal culture gap.  It is , in fact, the biggest culture gap on the planet. And, maybe, beyond the planet...

 

Culture gaps are always stressful, to a greater or lesser degree. If we are exposed to the 'strange' behaviour of another race, tribe or culture, we usually find ourselves puzzled at first, then intrigued, then irritated, by the different behaviour of the other people. It is even worse if a person close to us just happens to be a member of the other sex.  We completely disregard the fact that members of the opposite sex are, effectively, a different sub-species.
