The Festive Ensemble was established in February 1996 by three professional musicians with the aim of providing suitable background music at any type of function. We have played at a wide variety of venues in and around Johannesburg , Pretoria , Botswana and the Drakensberg and have always met with great appreciation. Our repertoire depends entirely on our client's choice and ranges from Baroque, Light Classical and Strauss waltzes to current pop and songs from the Shows. We have also given many public concerts with some acclaim. The Festive Ensemble caters for a wide variety of functions, offering a broad cross-section of musical styles. Each programme is prepared and arranged individually to suit the preferences of our clients. Favourite songs or special pieces can be requested, and we will prepare them if they are not already in our repertoire. The Ensemble is frequently joined by Christa Lagler, an accomplished singer with a beautiful Soprano voice. |
