A versatile mix of music, the trio plays a variety of African jazz and jazz standards. They also play the cha-cha, samba, afro-cuban rhythms, waltzes and fox-trots. Experienced and well known artists they can ably back any vocalist and have regularly worked with well-knows singers like Abigail Kubeka and Thembi Mtshali, All the musicians are adept at reading music. The Dimpie Tshabalala trio perform at corporate functions, parties, clubs weddings. The Dimpie Tshabalala trio jazz band is made up of Dimpie sings and plays keyboards, Archie plays bass, Abe plays drums. They can be augmented to a four or five piece band if required which would include saxophones and guitar. |
