The Lyric Ensemble is a group of talented professional musicians who create a musical ambience for corporate or private functions.

The Lyric Ensemble diverse repertoire consists of light classics and a mixture of popular music, Irish, Italian, Scott Joplin, Viennese, jazz, etc. Special musical requests in advance can also be arranged. The instrumentation of the ensemble is tailored to suit the specific function: for the large wedding or corporate function, an amplified string quartet or even a 12 to 15 piece swing orchestra is available.

For smaller functions, a string trio or trio with flute and strings, strings and sax, or harp, flute and cello are very popular. An amplification system for speeches and background music is also available. The Lyric Ensemble are also part of the Johannesburg Philamonic Orchestra .
