Chris is both a successful journalist and broadcaster, as well as a highly experienced businessman and entrepreneur. Currently he anchors The Mid Day Report, a hard-hitting news, current affairs and business show, simulcast on Gauteng 's Radio 702 and the Western Cape 's Cape Talk .
 
He also presents the daily Business Reports on Cape Talk 's morning and afternoon drive shows. He has had a distinguished career on both radio and television, anchoring Newstalk on Radio 702 from 1987 until 1997 and News Hour on SABC TV3 between 1997 and 1999.
 
During his career at 702, he conducted a number of historic interviews with people like Nelson Mandela, Margaret Thatcher and US Vice-president, Al Gore. Off-air, his management skills took him to the Board of Primedia Broadcasting, where he held the news, programming and IT portfolios.
 
He is a frequent and popular conference chairman, specialising in marketing, media, IT and general business. In 2002, he and his wife ventured into the Western Cape tourism market, successfully launching a small, luxury guesthouse. In 1991, Chris was adjudged one of the Jaycees' `Four Outstanding Young South Africans`. With an MA from Cambridge in England , Chris also holds an MBA from Henley, the UK 's leading business school.
