An award-winning sports journalist who defied the odds, Kass achieving her childhood dream of becoming South Africa’s first female cricket commentator at the age of 27. 

Kerishnie Naiker was born in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa.She completed matric with an “A” Aggregate Matriculation Exemption. She attained an Honours Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm). She practised as a senior pharmacist in hospital and retail pharmacy. She was studying towards a Masters in Pharmacy (M.Pharm), researching “The Social and Behavioural Factors Affecting Tuberculosis in South Africa”, in 1997 when she was crowned Miss South Africa.

Kobus Wiese was born on May 16 th 1964 in Paarl, matriculating at Paarl Gimnasium. He went on to study further at Paarl Onderwys, and obtained his teaching diploma from Goudstad. He has played rugby for Boland, Western Transvaal and Transvaal (now Gauteng ), touring as a Springbok to Australia in 1993, New Zealand , Wales , Scotland and Ireland in 1994, Italy and England in 1995 and Argentina , France and Wales in 1996.

Arguably, South Afrcia's most successful rugby coach ever, Nicholas Vivian Howard Mallett was born on October 30, 1956 in Heartfordshire , England , taking a middle name from his mother Vivienne. He came to Africa, being only six weeks old, when his family re-located to Zimbabwe . His father Anthony took up a post as Headmaster of Peterhouse School, just outside of Harare .
