Although Michelle enjoys the finer things in life and the luxuries city life offers, nothing can compare to the inspiration and harmony she experiences when spending time on the dunes of the Namib Desert .  Michelle has filled a space in the hearts of many as a television presenter since coming on board in 1996, but where can Michelle be found when she's not on telly? Well, she acts as Master Of Ceremonies, does corporate videos and voice-overs for TV commercials on a regular basis. She still does the occasional fashion show, but has cut back on the modelling, and would now like to find that balance between work and play.

When asked what we need more of and what we need less of in this life, Michelle replied: "more time in a day, please!" People need to slow down and appreciate the little things in life, and a little thing she definitely adores is her baby son Luke, whom she loves taking to the park with the dog tagging along. In addition to alternative exercising like partying and dancing the night away, Michelle enjoys a long lazy lunch with her friends, and of course an intimate dinner with hubby Neil. Michelle believes that you have to respect and love yourself, because only then can you allow others to respect and love you.

The Michelle Mclean Children's Trust has been extremely successful. Founded more than 10 years ago in Namibia , it initiates and runs hundreds of projects every year in education and up-liftment for the underprivileged. In 2000 the Michelle McLean Primary School was opened with the capacity for 800 learners in Windhoek , Namibia

We'll be seeing loads more of Michelle in future, but then again, who's complaining?
