Terry Zietsman has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Natal and a Higher Education Diploma from Stellenbosch University. Terry's work experience includes teaching at High School level, 7 years with the Anglo American Corporation (AAC) and 2 years with Central Training Unit (CTU) where she was involved in the training, design and presentation of Lifeskills programmes.

In 1993 Terry opened her own Training and Development Company based in Umhlanga Rocks, Kwazulu Natal which she runs at present. She designs, markets and trains a number of programmes on a national basis.

Terry also does Motivational Talks on a variety of topics and to date has spoken at a number of Conventions and for various companies such as:

Ernst & Young, Fmi, Illovo, KKS, Milady's, Sanlam, SA Sugar Association, Spar, Sun International, Telkom and Transnet.

Terry was President of the Umhlanga Women Achievers Club (UWAC) in 1998 & 1999, is a member of the Executive Association (EXAS) and was President of the Convocation Executive of the University of Natal - the first woman in the history of the University - in 2000 and 2001. She is also a Professional Member of the National Speakers Association (NSA), an international organisation for Professional Speakers and Consultants, based in the United States of America and is the only female member in Africa.
