Celebrity MCSuave, sophisticated, eloquent - those are just three of the words one can use to describe SAfm's Lunch Time Current Affairs Programme. Already familiar as the anchor of SABC2's Morning Live programme - the leading Breakfast Show in Africa - which has brought him in touch with the public across the country through outside broadcasts and events, Vuyo started his radio career on SAfm back in 1995 when he teamed up with veteran broadcaster Paddy O'Byrne. As a journalist, Vuyo has been around the block a couple of times! Vuyo made his television debut in 1993 for TSS - now SABC 3 - as a Continuity Presenter and worked his way up to Sport Presenting and eventually as a News Anchor. In 1996 he was the SABC Anchor in Atlanta , Georgia for the Olympic Games Coverage. He has interviewed a wide range of celebrities, politicians, sports persons as well as International Guests and Dignitaries. He counts his interview with Nelson Mandela as one of the highlights of his career. He is debonair and articulate, and his professional and charming manner has also endeared him to many a corporate function as a speaker. He has done a lot of MC work for prestigious blue chip companies like BMW, Pick & Pay and Siemens to name a few. |
