What They Don't Teach You About Being an Entrepreneur Allon is a serial entrepreneur that has been involved in over 20 entrepreneurial endeavours throughout his business career. He consults to both corporates and growing businesses on retaining and maintaining the entrepreneurial flair within organization. He is currently studying toward his Doctorate in Entrepreneurial Studies and runs a successful private business incubator. Allon lectures both business and MBA students on entrepreneurship and incubation. In 2004 he was nominated for the Johnny Walker Entrepreneur of the Year. Most would be entrepreneurs buy books on "how to start your own business" before deciding to enter the world of entrepreneurship. These books deal with most of the practical issues. The real life issues are generally overlooked and are probably the most fundamental to the success of the entrepreneur. In his keynote, Allon uses his personal experience as an entrepreneur to highlight the events that evoke entrepreneurship, drive entrepreneurs and gives the entrepreneur deep insight into what it takes to become and stay a successful entrepreneur. For Corporates, this information is vital in order to create a better entrepreneurial environment and to sensitise their staff the way in which the entrepreneurial mind works. |
